Our Story
Movnexerto was founded in 2023 by a small group of woodworking enthusiasts based in Prague and Brno. We noticed that while there were plenty of English-language woodworking resources online, very few addressed the specific needs of Czech homeowners: the unique wall types in Czech apartments, locally available wood species, the continental climate considerations, and where to source materials and tools across the country.
We set out to create the resource we wished we had when we started our own woodworking journeys. Every guide on Movnexerto is written from practical experience, tested in real Czech workshops, and designed to help you succeed regardless of your skill level.
